GlassWire monitors network activity, assesses potential threats and serves as a firewall tool. The application has a beautiful intuitive interface supporting multiple languages and skins. By simply browsing through the tabs, you can manage almost everything that the application does, except for a few parameters that can be accessed from the Settings window.
Its monitor can show you not only what's currently happening on your network but what’s been going on for the last 30 days as well. Besides, there’s a while-you-were-away option that gives you a summary of network activity since the last time you sat in front of your computer. GlassWire also issues alerts not only when a known threat is detected but also when different suspicious activities occur, including changes in the system and DNS, ARP spoofing and incoming connections. Since it has the built-in firewall, the application can block unauthorized access to your computer. An analysis of potential threats can then lead you to the banned specific servers.
All in all, GlassWire is a great application that can be extremely useful for keeping your network safe from intruders. Probably the best of its advantages is its graphics, which succeed in showing an exact and comprehensible picture of network processes. Another undeniably advantageous feature is the possibility of working remotely.
